Description

Fieldrunners (PC) – Steam Key – GLOBAL

Overview:

Fieldrunners is a tower defense video game developed by Subatomic Studios. This PC version is delivered as a Steam Key, enabling global activation and play via the Steam platform. Players strategically deploy and upgrade defensive towers to prevent waves of enemy “fieldrunners” from traversing the map.

Gameplay Mechanics:

Tower Placement: Players select from a range of available towers, each with distinct attack types, ranges, and costs, to place them along pre-defined enemy paths or open-field maps.
Enemy Pathing: On some maps, enemies follow a fixed path. On open-field maps, players can influence enemy paths by strategically placing towers to create mazes.
Waves: The game progresses through sequential waves of enemies, with each wave increasing in number, variety, and resilience.
Upgrades: Towers can be upgraded multiple times during gameplay, enhancing their damage output, range, or special abilities. Upgrades consume in-game currency.
In-game Currency: Earned by destroying enemy units. This currency is used to build new towers and upgrade existing ones.
Lives: Players have a limited number of “lives.” Each enemy that successfully traverses the map and exits the play area depletes a life. The game ends when all lives are lost.

Key Features:

Tower Types: Includes projectile towers, area-of-effect towers, and specialized support towers.
Enemy Variety: Multiple enemy types, including ground units and air units, requiring diverse defensive strategies.
Map Designs: Features a selection of maps with varying layouts and strategic considerations.
Difficulty Settings: Provides multiple difficulty levels for varied player challenges.
Persistent Progression: Tracks high scores and achievements within the Steam platform.
