Leaked Details on GTA 6’s Revamped Search System

Fans of the Grand Theft Auto series continue to discuss the innovations Rockstar Games is introducing in GTA 6. Leaked information and the promotional trailer have revealed that the search system, which has been a point of criticism for years, is getting a significant update. Players will now encounter a more realistic and complex mechanic, where the police no longer automatically solve crimes. This change is expected to add a new dimension to the series’ iconic chase scenes while offering a deeper experience for players.

Major Changes in GTA 6’s Search System

According to leaked details, the police in GTA 6 will now require more information to identify criminals. In one scene from the trailer, Jason and Lucia are seen committing a crime, only for the police to pass by them without recognizing them. This suggests that the police will act based on vehicle or individual descriptions gathered from the crime scene, rather than instantly identifying the suspect.

A source named Aesthetic Gamer leaked this new feature, accompanied by a visual showing police obtaining information about the criminals’ getaway vehicle during a heist. This indicates that Rockstar Games is making the search system more dynamic and realistic. In previous GTA games, the criticism was that the police would instantly recognize the criminal. With GTA 6, these changes aim to provide a more natural flow of gameplay.

Enhanced Chases and New Strategies

Rockstar Games plans to further improve the chase scenes in GTA 6. With the new search system, players will not only need to escape from the police but also develop strategies such as switching vehicles or leaving the crime scene to shake off their pursuers. This feature is expected to increase immersion, requiring players to plan their every move carefully.

Since the release of GTA 5 in 2013, there has been much anticipation about how Rockstar Games would raise the bar with the next title. GTA 6 is not only expected to impress with its updated search system but also with its open-world dynamics and storyline. While there is no official release date yet, the game is expected to launch sometime in 2025 or 2026.
